However, BPCL themselves slipped to 129 for eight, with only Minad Manjrekar (51 not out) holding fort.
At the Indian Airlines ground in Kalina, Akshay Sardesai’s 129 (207b, 19x4, 1x6) helped DY Patil ‘B’ gain a 112-run first innings lead over Air India.

MCA Ombudsman reinstates Shaikh
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Cricket Association Ombudman-cum cum Ethics Officer Vijaya Tahiliramani on Wednesday put a stay on the MCA Apex Council’s decision on January 5 directing Shahalam Shaikh to desist himself from exercising his rights/duties/privileges as the joint MCA jt secretary, till the next hearing in the matter on March 15. Shaikh has, thus, been reinstated.
