Tiger Woods will make his first PGA Tour start of 2024 next week at the Genesis Invitational.
The 15-time major champion took to social media Wednesday morning and announced he’ll be teeing it up alongside the game’s best at Riviera Country Club.
“Excited to be a playing host next week,” his post read.
In 14 starts at Riv, Tiger has made 10 cuts and finished inside the top 25 eight times (three of which were top 10s). His best outing came in 1999 when he finished second.
Tiger last played alongside his son Charlie at the PNC Championship in Orlando in December. His last official Tour start was the 2023 Masters.
The Genesis Invitational is the third signature event of 2024, but unlike the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, it will feature a 36-hole cut. The total purse is $20 million with $4 million going to the winner.
