K-pop superstars Seventeen are returning to Bangkok with two shows over the next three months, with tickets available to their fandom, known as Carat Thailand, beginning Thursday.
Organised by Live Nation Tero, the "Seventeen World Tour [Be The Sun] -- Bangkok" will take place at Impact Challenger Hall 1 on Oct 1 and 2 at 7pm. It's part of their third world tour, "Be The Sun", which kicked off with two sold-out shows in Seoul just last week.
This is the group's first world tour in more than two years after the "Seventeen World Tour " prematurely came to an end in 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The 13-piece act signalled the return of their highly-anticipated live shows earlier last month, with a fan meet in Japan that drew 60,000 fans.
The group released their fourth studio album, Face The Sun, in late May, which comprises nine tracks with Hot as the lead single. The album crossed the 1 million mark on the first day of release and racked up over 2 million sales in a single week, making Seventeen the second artist after BTS in K-pop history to record over 2 million first-week sales.
The group's young members will be flown into North America for shows in 12 cities throughout August until early September before heading to Southeast Asia to perform in Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila and Singapore. They will wrap up the tour at the end of the year in Japan.
Tickets for the upcoming Bangkok shows cost 1,800, 2,800, 3,800, 4,800, 5,500 and 6,500 baht and will be available for Live Nation members tomorrow via livenation.co.th and thaiticketmajor.com. Public ticket sales start on Friday.
