Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal side have a huge few weeks ahead of them. They currently sit fourth in the Premier League, holding the upper hand over fifth-placed Tottenham as they battle to secure a return to the Champions League.
A return to the top continental competition could be huge for the future of the Spaniard and his young side, due to the increase in revenue for transfers as well as the ability to attract high-profile players. One priority this summer in regards to signings will be in the striker department.
With duo Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave as free agents this summer, Arteta has already opened up on the need for a new striker. “You can play good football, but you need enough goal threat in the team. The other thing is that he has to complement the other people we have, personally and on the pitch. We need the right profile," he said.
