The New Year’s Day street party in Pitlochry attracted around 3000 daylight dancers and revellers cramming into hotels and guest houses.
Entertainment was provided by Eddie Rose and, acting as MC and providing entertainment for the children, was Highland Perthshire clown, Silly McB – Martin Bingham.
The splendid sounds of the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band ensured that the cultural set-piece of the area, a marching band of pipes and drums, was the centre piece of an enjoyable party.
