Hibs rounded off their friendly games in their Portuguese training camp with a fine 4-2 victory over English League One side Burton Albion.
Easter Road boss Lee Johnson handed several of his new squad minutes against third tier opposition and they responded brilliantly to an early setback when Louis Moult's free-kick found Gassan Ahadme and was turned into the net. A brilliant leveller was netted by Élie Youan, showing blistering pace and hammering an effort into the bottom corner.
Elias Melkersen put Hibs ahead and then he combined with Runar Hauge to double his tally and the Hibees' lead. Burton pulled one back in the exciting encounter which had a great tempo for a friendly game through Ciaran Gilligan but Johnson's men held on for victory and got a fourth through Nohan Kenneh.

READ MORE: What Martin Boyle said about Hibs transfer return as Saudi Arabia future in doubt
It follows on from a 2-0 win over League Two club Hartlepool United earlier this week as the squad are put through their paces ahead of Premiership season 2022/23.
Their Premier Sports Cup group stage campaign begins at Easter Road against Clyde next Saturday. Here are three things we spotted from their latest friendly.
Pace to burn
One thing Hibs seemed to lack last season after Martin Boyle's January exit was any pace going forward. That's not an issue now.
Melkersen and Youan both got their goals with quick movement, especially the latter, while Lewis Miller and Jair Tavares also have that in abundance.
Teams will need to be careful against Johnson's men as their attack-minded players look likely to be quick and aggressive.
Pressing hard
There's more zip about the Hibees under Johnson. It's very early days yet but already there's an intense energy about them.
Whenever they lose the ball they are swarming to win it back. When in possession, each player isn't holding the ball for more than five seconds.
It looked a tiring shift in sweltering conditions but the Easter Road side looked like they could go again for another- half amid an abundance of changes.
Utility man
Kevin Dabrowski was a man of many talents for Hibs in this one. He appeared between the sticks in the first half and then exited play in the second.
Up he went to the gantry to provide commentary duties for the club's tv channel, which was live-streaming the game for supporters back home.
Dabrowski provided a colourful performance on the mic and provided fans with a unique insight to the early days of Johnson's reign, and Jake Doyle-Hayes' ruthless nature on the pitch.
