Rangers ended their pre-season preparations with a worthwhile glamour-friendly match against Tottenham Hotspur, albeit losing 2-1 to a Harry Kane brace.
After sweeping aside fellow London-based Premier League club West Ham 3-1 midweek, Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side started brightly in this one with a goal from new signing Antonio Colak. They got to half-time at 1-0 and within the first 15 minutes of the second half, England captain Kane restored parity and put his side ahead in ruthless fashion.
It's been a busy summer of recruitment at Ibrox and they have managed to fit three friendlies into their last week ahead of a return to Premiership action against Livingston next Saturday. Champions League qualifiers are also just around the corner as a big season awaits. Here are three things we learned.

Elite tests
This week will have done Rangers the world of good for their preparations for the new season on all fronts.
West Ham has won many plaudits under David Moyes and sweeping them aside 3-1 was impressive, and going toe-to-toe with a team tipped as a dark horse for Premier League glory this season is ideal.
You can't read into the results but the Light Blues will need to defeat stern foes if they are to progress to the Champions League group stages. Their prep work has been a good gauge as to what they may face quality-wise, although few will hurt them like Kane.
McGregor number one?
The friendly before competitive action starts is usually fairly close to what the next teamsheet will look like. If that's the case, it's big news on Allan McGregor.
There have been split opinions on the 40-year-old signing a new contract but he made a few fine saves during this match.
More importantly, he was donning the number one shirt. Jon McLaughlin was the cup keeper last season and it will be interesting to see if that remains the case.
New signings impress
With Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe still injured, it looks like new striker Colak will be the man to lead the line against Livingston.
It will do his confidence the world of good to score prior to that and chance supplier Rabbi Matondo also looked lively.
His pace will terrify defences both near and far this season if it's used correctly.
