Three things we learned as Hearts stutter to defeat at Livingston as new signing makes debut

Livi Hearts Livingston David Martindale Hibs Jambos Alan Forrest Christian Doidge Lee Johnson Celtic

Hearts have suffered their second loss in a row after a 1-0 defeat away to Livingston.

The Jambos struggled at the Tony Macaroni against David Martindale's men who ran winners thanks to a first half finish from Cristian Montaño. Hearts made a bright start with Stephen Humphrys, on-loan from English Championship side Wigan Athletic, almost making an instant impact with his new club. But his side were made to pay for early missed opportunities when Livi took the lead in the 28th minute. Hearts claimed for offside after a free kick was whipped in but Montaño calmly took a touch before firing it home.
