Three men have been taken to hospital after an Audi crashed and fell into a ditch in Leigh.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the smash on Atherleigh Way just after 5am this morning (Friday). The road was fully closed off between the East Lancashire road and St Helens Road.
Four men were in the Audi at the time of the crash, the Manchester Evening News understands. Three were taken to hospital by paramedics.

The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed yet. Accident investigation work is ongoing at the scene.
The southbound carriageway remains closed off with heavy traffic reported in the surrounding areas. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At 5.04am this morning police were called to a report of a one vehicle collision involving an Audi, on East Lancashire Road, Leigh.
"The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene. Enquiries are ongoing."
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We responded to a road traffic collision where a vehicle had crashed into a ditch. Three patients were taken to hospital."
