Edinburgh motorists are being warned after a three-car collision on the city bypass has halted traffic on the outskirts of the city centre.
The crash is understood to have occurred at around 1pm on Saturday afternoon, June 4, on the A720 eastbound between Calder and Baberton.
The busy bypass is a popular main road for commuters in and out of the city, with traffic already expected to be busy due to people heading away for the Jubilee celebrations over the weekend.

Traffic Scotland, who manage alerts on all main roads across the country, tweeted that one lane on the A720 is currently blocked to traffic due to the three-car smash, with queues and delays expected for the time being.
They also noted that police are in attendance to deal with the crash and manage traffic in the area.
They tweeted: "NEW 13:30 #A720 Collision.
"#A720 Eastbound between Calder and Baberton Lane 2 blocked due to a collision, Police are in attendance. Approach with care."
Live traffic cameras from the scene show heavy traffic on the approach to the scene, with long ques of traffic on the A720 at Calder.
East and west facing traffic at Baberton seems to be moving relatively freely for the time being, as the seriousness of the collision is currently unclear.
However, drivers approaching the area can expect possible delays and are urged to approach with care on Saturday afternoon.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
