A three-bedroom house has gone on sale for £19,000 but it is a bit of a gamble for interested buyers who will need to rely on one single photo of the property.
The terraced home in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, is up for grabs in an online auction and bidding is set to close on Wednesday.
But BP Auctions has warned potential buyers that the property has not been inspected and all information has been supplied by the vendor.
No floorplan or interior shots are available, meaning that buyers will only see the front door of the property and do not know what to expect from the inside.
The auctioneer said: "The property has not been inspected by BP Auctions.
"All information has been supplied by the vendor. The information provided should not be relied upon.
"The buyer/bidder is bidding on a sold-as-seen basis."
The only photo available of the property shows its two windows boarded-up and the paint peeling off from the exterior.
In 2004, the property was sold for £16,000 and its price only rose by £3,000 in the two decades since.
Last year, a detached property in Blackpool hit the market for just £18,000 - but needed significant work.
The property in South Shore, Blackpool, was auctioned on behalf of Pattinson Auctions and Kenricks, reported LancsLive.
The fixer-upper came with a detached building and approximately 64sq metres of exterior land.
The property had convenient links to tourist hotspots such as the town centre, promenade, central pier, Madame Tussauds and the Sea Life centre.
Earlier this month, the northern city of Bradford in Yorkshire was crowned "Britain's cheapest city" for first-time buyers wanting to get on the property ladder.
Bradford topped the list on Rightmove's analysis which looked at the prices of two bedroom homes in major urban locations across Britain.
The research made several assumptions, including that first-time buyers had a 10% deposit and would be paying back their mortgage over 25 years.
The average asking price for a typical first-time-buyer-type property in Bradford sat at £104,643, which could potentially lead to monthly mortgage payments of around £521.
Carlise in Cumbria took second place as the second cheapest city with an average asking price only slightly higher than Bradford at £104,789 - the average mortgage costs sat at £522 a month.
Excluding London, St Albans in Hertfordshire was named as the priciest city to get on the property ladder, with average monthly mortgage payments at around £1,958.
