Thousands sign petition in support of pie and mash shop facing closure over astronomical rent hike

Thousands of people have signed a petition in support of one of the last remaining pie and mash shops in west London, which is facing closure after a landlord threatened to more than double its rent.

Ruth Phillips has been serving up traditional food at Cockney’s in Portobello Road for over 30 years.
