Those ridiculing CM Yogi Adityanath will now face ‘lath’: Aparna Yadav

KANPUR: Aparna Yadav, daughter-in-law of the Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member, on Friday took a dig at the opposition, saying that “those who were speaking of sending chief minister Yogi Adityanath to ‘Gorakhnath Math’ in the recently held assembly polls will now face the ‘lath’ (stick or rule of law) which has come into force with the formation of Yogi 2.0 government in the state”.

“During the assembly elections, the rivals used to say that the time has come to send the ‘sanyasi’ to the ‘math’ (send CM Yogi Adityanatah to the monastery). Now, democracy has given them the answer by re-electing the Yogi government with a thumping majority. It is time for them to face the ‘lath’ (stick) of chief minister.

The opposition will get answers in their own language. which has already started,” she said while addressing gathering on the occasion of 42nd Foundation Day of BJP, organized at Ramlila Maidan in Bidhuna in Auraiya.Aparna further said, “I am the daughter-in-law of the Yadav clan. I have not left my family, I have left the party just for the sake of ‘rashtravad’ (nationalism).” She further asserted that she would remain in the BJP till she is alive. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’. He wants to make India ‘Atma Nirbhar (self-reliant)‘ and this vision needs everyone’s support,” she said.

She further attacked the opposition and said that the people are happy with the policies of the Yogi government. “Everyone got the benefit of public welfare schemes. Action is being taken against the land mafia and those who try to disrupt the law and order system. Apart from security, education to daughters and women, the work of the government in every field is commendable,” she said.
