Thompson Ishaka 'handed' Rangers transfer second chance as Ibrox side beat PSV to land 'massive coup'

Highly-rated Nigerian Thompson Ishaka has reportedly been handed a second chance by Rangers - who are said to have signed him after impressing during the summer.

The teenage winger blew fans away with a viral social media clip showing his dazzling pace and control for the B-team but he was only 17 at the time and it was reported that complicated a deal as he was still a minor. He left after an impressive trial spell and was courted by a host of top European sides including Chelsea, Manchester City and PSV.

But he turned 18 in November and after a spell down south, it's widely believed he is back at Ibrox with a professional contract on the table. It's believed he is with the B-team in France for the Mohammed VI Cup and All Nigeria Soccer report that he is "on the brink" of signing for the club.

They say Gers have pulled off a "massive transfer coup" by beating PSV to the punch and he's set to go into the B-team as they push for the Lowland League title. Ishaka impressed fans in a clip that showed him leading Elgin defender Darryl McHardy on a merrydance and it seems they will get a chance to have a second look in the near future.
