Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital completed a £4billion takeover at Stamford Bridge last year and made the decision to sack Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea manager just months later. The Blues endured a poor start to the season after a busy summer transfer window, resulting in Tuchel losing his job - 18 months after replacing Frank Lampard.
The German manager led Chelsea to their first UEFA Champions League title since 2012, a UEFA Super Cup title and FIFA Club World Cup title. Graham Potter was selected as the man to replace Tuchel but things haven't gone to plan for the former Brighton boss so far.
A number of new signings, poor form and pressure building from supporters has put the Chelsea ownership in a tough position. Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have stood by Potter so far this season and continue to back the manager as the right man to lead the club forward for their long-term vision.

Tuchel has highlighted the problem Potter is currently facing and outlined the tough position Boehly and Eghbali currently find themselves in. In an interview with Dr. Vignesh Devraj on YouTube, the former Chelsea boss said: "In my experience at Chelsea, Paris [Saint-Germain], [Borussia] Dortmund and Mainz, it is about the results.
"You can overcome one loss, you can overcome a short period of time where results are missing if the players feel you are on the right path. But, it cannot be too long, otherwise nobody trusts the process anymore."
Chelsea have won just one game in their last 10 fixtures across all competitions and currently sit 10th in the Premier League table. Champions League football next season looks highly unlikely and the Blues' ownership may look to review Potter's position at the end of the season, unless things get better quickly between now and May.
