A private funeral has taken place for Lady Gabriella Kingston's husband Thomas Kingston, Buckingham Palace has announced.

Around 140 friends and family of the financier and former hostage negotiator gathered at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace in London on Tuesday, followed by a reception in St James's Palace.
