This wildly successful indie gem is completely free on Steam—but only for another 48 hours

Free stuff is always great, and luckily for us, Steam tends to offer loads of free games just about every day, and sometimes it's a major title. Indies in particular are very good at willingly hopping into your library free of charge, and this time around, it's House Flipper doing so.

Incredibly popular and successful, House Flipper is free to claim and keep forever on Steam, with this amazing offer available until April 6, the day after tomorrow. Released in 2018, House Flipper saw a rapid rise as players wanted to join in on the fun of purchasing, fixing up, and subsequently selling off properties for significant financial gain.

Its easy and simple gameplay loop, loads of options, and countless DLC constantly adding to the fun made it into one of the most popular indies ever, with an estimated 2.5 million copies sold on Steam alone.

This amazing offer comes in celebration of House Flipper Remastered Collection's upcoming release in the second quarter of 2026, which will cost as little as $16 for those who own the original game and at least six DLCs. The Remastered Collection will contain all DLCs and the remastered game in one package, allowing you to experience its full content library through a single purchase.

Getting the free version will let you play the base game as it was in 2018 (though substantially updated), potentially getting you excited enough to buy into the remaster or even its sequel, House Flipper 2.

House Flipper also has extensive mod support and tens of thousands of mods that can make your fun last even longer without any extra charges, meaning you could potentially squeeze out dozens of hours out of this game by spending literally zero bucks.

Free-to-keep games are constantly available on Steam, and the easiest way to keep up to date with what's being offered up for nothing is to just click on the store search bar, as the top auto-generated result is usually a completely free game.
