'This turnaround is incredible': Corbin Bosch as MI Cape Town storm into SA20 playoffs

Corbin Bosch MI Cape Town SA20 Sunrisers Sunrisers Eastern Cape Dewald Brevis Paarl Royals David Bedingham Newlands Qualifier 1

MI Cape Town delivered a stunning performance at Newlands on Wednesday evening, securing a dominant victory over Sunrisers Eastern Cape and booking their first-ever spot in the SA20 Playoffs. Their resounding win set up a high-stakes Western Cape showdown against table-toppers Paarl Royals in Qualifier 1 at St George's Park on February 4, with a direct ticket to the final at stake.

From the outset, MI Cape Town's fielding unit was electric, with Dewald Brevis, Corbin Bosch, and Reeza Hendricks pulling off spectacular catches to help dismiss Sunrisers for a mere 107. Inspired by their fielding efforts, the bowlers followed suit, led by Bosch's SA20 career-best 4/19 and Kagiso Rabada's impressive 2/14.
