With his big green eyes, tiny frame, and little pink tongue that often sticks out, Skippy is the kind of cat who can make anyone smile. But behind his adorable appearance is a story of survival, serious health challenges, and a devoted owner who has done everything she can to give him a happy and comfortable life.
Skippy’s journey began when he was discovered alone in a field, crying out for help and unable to walk. He was brought to an animal hospital, where Rachel, a veterinary clinic employee, decided to take him in as a medical foster. His condition was so severe that nobody was certain he would survive. “When I took him on as a medical foster, I did not know how long he was going to be with us. We didn’t think he’d make it that week,” Rachel recalled.
