Holly Willoughby issued a swift apology to her This Morning colleagues and viewers at home after briefly walking off the set of the show on Thursday, just as cameras 'cut out.'
Holly lined up alongside Phillip Schofield to front the presenters' fourth show of this week, having returned to the ITV studio following a half term break. And there was plenty for them to get stuck into; from discussing the day's top new stories to crossing live to co-star Josie Gibson, who deputised for Holly last week, as she reported on location from the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome in Birmingham.
Former Big Brother winner and This Morning fan favourite Josie joined Holly and Phillip numerous times throughout the two and a half hour show, but things went slightly awry in more ways than one during one of those segments. Before Josie had even appeared on camera, Holly started coughing and walked out of shot as Phillip asked if she was OK before she sat down to grab a drink on the sofa next to her.
Then, as Josie was talking the hosts through one of the motorhomes on offer at the event at the famous NEC, the live feed cut off, prompting a startled Phillip to ask: "No! No! Has she really gone?" as Josie momentarily disappeared off screen.

She reappeared seconds later as the feed restored, although it was apparent that Phillip was alone in the studio to deal with the brief mishap. And, after Josie wrapped up her link and crossed back to him and Holly, who had returned, Holly told Josie: "I missed it. I'm going to watch it back on catch-up, because I missed it Josie."
Phillip then turned to Holly and quipped: "You're just ack from sucking a Fisherman's Friend, alright?" Holly replied: "Don't set me off again! I'm fine. You know you suddenly think you're going to cough and I'm thinking 'don't cough, don't cough' and then you've left it too late.
She added: "I just had to take myself off, but I'm back now. Sorry guys!"
