After a longer than expected absence from the show, Holly Willoughby will finally be back on This Morning on Thursday, but not with Phillip Schofield.
First announcing Holly’s absence from the show when she was missing in action on January 17, Phillip explained that she was off for two weeks to film a new show for the BBC.
However, after those two weeks were up, Holly was still nowhere to be seen on Monday, with Rochelle Humes continuing to stand in for her.
This Morning was thrown into chaos this week when Phillip tested positive for coronavirus, with Alison Hammond stepping in for him on Tuesday and then Vernon Kay replacing him on Wednesday.

But, at the end of Wednesday’s show, Rochelle and Vernon confirmed Holly would be back on Thursday, with Josie Gibson beside her.
While Josie was called in at the last minute to present with Phillip in November when Holly was off sick for a few days, the pair haven’t presented together, so Thursday will be a big first for the show.
Rochelle and Vernon teased that Holly and Josie will be speaking to Spider-Man star Tom Holland on the show as viewers were quick to react to news of the pairing.
One tweeted: "josie and holly! what a surprise," with a second reacting: "Really? Holly will trip her up"
A third posted: "Yay Holly is back tomorrow"
Holly's return comes as some viewers were so impressed by Rochelle and Vernon's partnership that they called for them to be full time presenters.
One tweeted: "At last the best combination - presenters. Vernon and Rochelle !! Make them permanent."
