This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are set to take some time off from the programme as rumours of a ‘feud’ between the pair continue to rumble on.
The duo have said to ‘cooled’ their 17-year friendship in recent weeks following reports of a fall out off camera.
Some have called for 61-year-old Phil to quit This Morning, which he has co-hosted for more than 20 years.
Earlier this week, our sister paper the Mirror revealed that Holly, 42, is also considering her future on This Morning while ITV bosses could axe Phil if his on-screen chemistry with Holly fizzles.
Amid the on-going 'feud', Holly and Phil are set to take some time away from the programme.
The presenting duo are thought to be taking Monday, May 29 to Friday, June 2 off work for the half-term holiday, returning on Monday, June 5, as they usually take school holidays off.
And as always, stand-in presenters Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson will step in to host during their absence.
Despite Holly and Phil's supposed united front on screen for now, there are reports of a summer shake-up amongst This Morning staff amid reports of a 'bloodbath'.
As reports of an alleged feud began to swirl last week, Phil made a public statement about his friendship with Holly, which is said to have left Holly 'blindsided' and 'deeply upset'.
