This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield secure big interview for first day back

Holly Williughby and Phillip Schofield's first day back as This Morning presenters looks set to be an interesting one as they will be joined in the studio by Love Island winners Davide and Ekin-Su.

Holly and Phillip haven't set foot in the This Morning studio since the middle of July, with the show instead being fronted by a series of guest-presenters, kicking off with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary and ending with Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay, who have been doing the honours this week.

After viewers were left wondering just when Holly and Phillip would finally make a return, it was finally announced earlier this week they will be back on Monday, September 5. And Love Island fans will want to make sure they tune in as, at the end of an advertising break during Thursday's This Morning, it was confirmed that Love Island champions Davide and Ekin-Su will be joining them live for an interview in the studio.

The announcer teased: "They found love in the villa and captured the hearts of the nation," before a clip of Davide's iconic 'you are a liar' rant played out on screen. The preview continued: "And now Ekin-Su and Davide join Phillip and Holly for the interview you've been waiting for. Revealing all about life after Love Island, Monday on This Morning."

Ekin-Su and Davide's This Morning appearance will come after reports they've 'fallen out' over where to live, with her based in Essex and him in Manchester. An insider told The Sun: "Davide has made a good group of friends in Manchester, he really likes the city and could have lots of work there,' the source continued.

'They both showed on Love Island just how strong willed they can be but Ekin thinks Davide really needs to show her she's 'his queen', rather than just saying it all the time."
