This Morning's Dermot O'Leary apologised at the start of today's show.

The 49-year-old presenter fronted Monday's episode of the programme alongside Alison Hammond. It was the first show since former star, Phillip Schofield, announced his exit.

The hosts issued a tribute to Phil at the beginning of the show. Alison said: "Quite simply, we all know he's one of the best live television broadcasters this country has ever had. We, and all the team, wish him all the best for the future."
