Carol Vorderman didn't hold back when she appeared on ITV'S This Morning. The TV personality made a series of statements when appearing on the show on Friday. The former Countdown star went on a rant about her former pal Michelle Mone when she appeared on the View' segment panel alongside Gyles Brandreth.
The panel was discussing the news headlines in the show's daily segment, with Rod Stewart, who hit the headlines after phoning into a TV station and revealing he's abandoned his "long time" support for the Tories, among the topics being discussed., M.E.N reports.
This led Carol to rant: "It's just sad, terribly sad, they knew this was coming [after the pandemic]." Alison replied: "It's the not knowing, isn't it? A scan can at least show you where we're at, but to not have that". Gyles interjected: "£15 billion was wasted on PPE, how many scans would that buy?"

Carol then took aim at her former friend, Michelle Mone, making claims about the businesswoman and Conservative life peer. The 62-year-old continued to talk about Baranoess Mone before Alison was forced to cut her off mid-sentence. "Carol can I just say, she's not here to defend herself."
Carol also took aim at the Prime Minister. She fumed there is a lack of "accountability and transparency" in the government after reports Sunak co-founded a hedge fund that had shares in Moderna, with him insisting he put his assets into a blind trust after the Department of Health allegedly spent £15 billion on unused PPE, the Mirror reports.
On social media, Carol's remarks were widely praised as she began to trend on the social media site, Birmingham Live reports.. Super Tan said: "One my favourite things lately has been watching @carolvorders become a fearless anti Tory activist."
