ITV have confirmed all scheduled daytime television has been pulled off air following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. It was announced on Thursday, September 8 that the Queen had passed away, aged 96. She was the nation's longest-reigning monarch, serving as head of state for more than 70 years.
In a statement, the Palace said: "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow." As the nation enters an official period of mourning for the late Head of State, many programmes have been pulled from the schedule.
It means This Morning, Loose Women, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have all been cancelled on Friday, September 8.
