Wrexham's Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny summed up the club's promotion from the National League in their own inimitable style - with McElhenny calling Wrexham striker Paul Mulling 'one of the greatest football players in the world' .
The pair were watching on at the Racecourse Ground as the club finally returned to the Football League - 15 years to the day since they were relegated - with a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood.
And as the celebrations kicked off in north Wales, the actors - having been in tears minutes earlier - were collared for a TV interview that demonstrated both the earnestness and humour that Wrexham fans have come to expect.
Speaking to BT Sport in the aftermath, Deadpool actor Reynolds said: "I'm not sure I can actually process what happened tonight. I'm still a little speechless.
"The one thing that is running through my head over and over again is that people said at the beginning 'why Wrexham? Why Wrexham?'
"This is exactly why Wrexham. Happening right now is why."
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star McElhenny offered his own emotive take on what promotion meant not just to him, but to the club's fans - who have been through plenty over the years.
"I think we can hear how it feels to the town and that's what's most important to us," added McElhenny. "This is a moment of catharsis for them and celebration.
"For us to be welcomed into their community, and for us to be welcomed into this experience, is the honour of my life."
Reynolds was full of praise for Boreham Wood, adding that he was "rooting" for title rivals Notts County to gain promotion in the play-offs so they can meet again next season in League Two.
"This entire story, the reason we're all sitting on the edge of our seat right now is because Notts County are so damn good as well," he said. "They deserve to go up and that's something Rob and I feel quite strongly about. They're incredible"
As the interview drew to a close, the post-match quote from Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard about his side being 'Mullin-ed' after Wrexham's prolific striker grabbed a second-half brace to seal victory was put to the pair.
"I'd like to say that Paul Mullin is one of the greatest football players in the world," was McElhenny's deadpan response.
"I'd wouldn't mind getting Mullin-ed", added Reynolds.
