You probably couldn't tell by looking at it, but this isn't a real R32 Nissan Skyline. I know, shocking. Japanese tuner Rocket Bunny turned a Suzuki Twin—a short-lived Kei car sold only in Japan from 2003 to 2005—into a miniature Nissan Skyline R32. And it's absolutely adorable.
The kit transforms the bite-sized Twin into a mini R32 race car, converting it from a bubbly, round runabout into a sporty GT-R. It features new front fenders, a new hood, new headlights, and a proper Sunoco racing livery, of course.
At the back, the fenders give the Twin a proper rear deck to hang the wing off of. It also comes with round taillights, a styling trademark of the GT-R.
Despite its more aggressive look, the kit only upgrades the exterior. Sorry, there's no inline-six under the hood. The Twin uses a 658 cubic-centimeter engine that produces a whopping 27 horsepower.
Rocket Bunny unveiled the Pocket Bunny R32 GT-R widebody kit at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The company says it’ll be available to order soon.
Motor1’s Take: Rocket Bunny’s extensive body kit transforms the Suzuki Twin into a mini Skyline we wish we could have here. It turns an otherwise ho-hum commuter car into something far cooler, even if it only makes 27 hp.
