The concept of a tiny home is nothing new. In recent years, we've seen high-profile design concepts styled by IKEA, and discussed rumors that Elon Musk is picking up a prefabricated unit to use as a Texas guest house. However, what is new is the way these structures are designed to look incredibly chic.
Far from the basic utility pods of the past, the Customizable Prefab Mobile Modular Cabin (available on Amazon) is the most design-forward and sophisticated tiny home I've noticed on the market today. Like all micro-properties, it maximizes small-room living, but it does so in a high-end, contemporary way that's often felt missing in the past.
