Third of men delay seeking help for prostate cancer as they fear terminal diagnosis

More than one in ten men would delay seeing a doctor for prostate-related issues – as a third (32%) believe every prostate cancer diagnosis is terminal.

As many as one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime – and yet nearly a third (31%) are not sure what therapies are used to treat it.

As a result, a poll of 1,200 men, aged over 45, found one in three would put off seeking help for the disease – with 32% concerned about the side effects from medication.
