Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher agree on Christian Pulisic verdict amid major Chelsea decision

Christian Pulisic has been warned that his Chelsea future hinges on how he performs under new manager Graham Potter.

The American winger has struggled to become a regular first team starter for the Blues since completing a £54million move from Borussia Dortmund to Stamford Bridge back in 2019. Pulisic failed to impress Frank Lampard during his tenure as Chelsea boss and suffered a similar fate under Thomas Tuchel, only being used as a rotation option when fit.

Potter has handed the 24-year-old just 12 minutes of game time since replacing Tuchel as manager as the early signs point to Pulisic finding himself in a similar situation as he did under the previous two men in charge. The American winger wanted to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window but Chelsea were reluctant to sanction a move away for Pulisic having already let go of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, football.london understands.
