Manchester United's pursuit of Frenkie de Jong shows no signs of nearing completion.
After reaching an agreement with Barcelona for the signing of the Dutch midfielder last month, United are still no closer to finalising a deal that would see De Jong team up with his former manager at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag has made no secret of his desire to sign the midfielder this summer.
However, recent reports from Spain have suggested De Jong would rather make a move to Bayern Munich or Premier League rivals Chelsea should he leave Barcelona. It is claimed that he does not want to move to Old Trafford.

United fans took to social media to express their frustration at the news, with many suggesting it's time for the club to move on and pursue other midfield targets.
