'There must be equal respect and share': UP Congress in-charge on seat-sharing for 2027 state polls

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam on Sunday weighed in on seat-sharing for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027, stressing that the Congress should get equal respect and an equal share.

Speaking to ANI, Gautam said, "Who asked for 150 seats? I had actually spoken about 200. I have maintained from the very beginning that there must be equal respect and an equal share. After all, the Congress party is the country's oldest and largest party."
