They might have royal titles, but the Cambridges are like any other family in terms of the sweet nicknames they have for each other. During the Platinum Jubilee we got a glimpse into the lives of the family, and now some of the names they use for each other have been revealed.
The seven-year-old princess' full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, but at school she is simply Charlotte Cambridge. At home, Prince William has been overheard referring to Princess Charlotte as 'Mignonette' which is French for "small and delicate". It has also been reported that Kate refers to her only daughter as "Lottie", with the Duchess making the reference when speaking to a royal fan in Ireland a few years ago.
Meanwhile, her older brother Prince George, who joined his sister on their first official visit to Wales earlier this month, is affectionately referred to as "PG" and "Tips", a nod to the famous British brand of tea. Prince Louis was a favourite amongst fans for his cheeky behaviour over the Jubilee weekend and though it is unclear what nickname Kate and William have given their youngest, fans have started referring to him as "Boss Baby". The nickname comes from the Hollywood character.
One Twitter user wrote: “We love you, Prince Louis. Thank you for being the pioneer of real-life boss baby! I’m waiting for the next time we see you again. Xoxo.” A second patriot raved: “BOSS BABY!!! Prince Louis is being a KID!! Let’s put a camera on their kids, see how they behave!!!”
