Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the most stolen breed in the UK, new research has found.

Security firm ADT has published its annual dog theft report, which examines police data from across the UK to see which types of pooches are most vulnerable of being taken.

Stafordshire Bull Terriers, commonly nicknamed "Staffies", are the top dog breed for theft. The large animal is one of the nation's most popular pet picks - even though they are stereotyped for being vicious.
