Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, the three countries closest to Hamas, are reportedly urging the group's leaders to accept President Donald Trump's Gaza deal despite being infuriated by last-minute changes made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Axios reported that top officials from the countries have met with Hamas leaders twice over the past 24 hours. Both Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani and Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad advised them to accept what they described as the best deal the former could get on the table, adding that it won't get much better.
