Olivia Rodrigo used a press conference ahead of her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival to spotlight Palestinian craftsmanship, stepping out in a custom dress by the Ramallah-based label Nöl Collective. The pale pink minidress featured traditional Palestinian tatreez embroidery, including motifs of birds and interconnected daisy chains that tied directly into the name and themes of the festival Rodrigo created.
The sleeveless dress was designed with fluttery cap sleeves, pleated ruffles along the neckline and a flared skirt, made from raw silk in a soft, dusty rose shade. Rodrigo completed the look with a pair of Gucci Mary Jane heels and a silver pendant necklace. The appearance came the day before the one-day, women-led Daisy Chain Fields festival took place at Great Park in Irvine, California, and coincided with Rodrigo's announcement that the event would donate an initial $10 million to nonprofits supporting women and girls, a figure that grew to a reported $20 million once matching funds came in.
