AMD says its ghostly 'Toyshop tech demo is truly not reflective' of what FSR4 will look like when it ships with the RDNA 4 cards this week

Update March 4, 2025: AMD has been in great pains to point out to us that what you see in the Toy Shop demo isn't indicative of the actual visual performance you'll see from games with FSR 4 enabled in them when they launch on March 6.

"We wanted to clarify that this was an early demo—showcasing work-in-progress research on future path tracing technologies. The Toyshop tech demo is truly not reflective of the version of FSR 4 that will be available in 30 games upon launch on March 6th and is more of a sneak peek into how the technology will continue to evolve."
