If you couldn’t get enough of Line of Duty, BBC One has an exciting police and drama series lined up which should deliver similar thrills.
The Responder, starring Martin Freeman, is penned by an ex-police officer and first time writer Tony Schumacher.

When does The Responder start on the BBC?
The Responder is coming to BBC One on Monday, January 24 at 9pm. Episodes will air weekly.
The series is set and filmed in Liverpool, therefore Freeman has adopted a Liverpudlian accent for the role.
The Responder plot - what to expect from new crime drama
Set across five episodes, the series follows Chris, an urgent police officer working in Liverpool.
He works five night shifts in a row and writer Schumacher has taken his own experiences and incorporated them into the series.
Freeman, who also starred in The Hobbit, The Office and Sherlock, is joined by Adelayo Adedayo who plays Rachel, a rookie police officer.
The cast also includes Warren Brown, Ian Hart, MyAnna Buring, David Bradley, Josh Finan and Emily Fairn.
