Clubs across the UK have been holding similar tributes over the past week, and Wednesday will see a minute’s applause before Steve Clarke’s side get into action. Not all football fans have participated in memorial tributes since The Queen’s death, with Celtic and Dundee United coming under fire for their supporter’s antics.
In Warsaw, a section of Hoops fans unveiled two shocking banners prior to their Euro tie with Shakhtar Donetsk. Many also interrupted the minute’s applause during the match with St Mirren on Sunday, with a banner that read: “If you hate the Royal Family clap your hands.”

The Hampden showdown is the first of three games in just six days. Republic of Ireland also make the trip to the National Stadium on Saturday before Scotland and Ukraine meet for a second time in the return meeting between the pair next week.

The Dark Blues are currently second position in the Nations League section, one point behind tomorrow night's opponents. Victory would see Clarke and Co put their destiny in their own hands heading into the final two games.
Rangers defied UEFA last week during their Champions League game with Napoli, by encouraging a rendition of God Save The King. England have also made plans to pay tribute to the Queen when they take on Germany at Wembley.
