Sebastien Pocognoli will take charge of Scotland for the first time on Saturday in a Nations League tie in Slovenia.
And he's unbeaten on his two previous managerial debuts.
The 39-year-old will be in the dug-out for the first time as Scotland boss in Ljubljana this afternoon.
And in his two previous bows as manager, he's tasted a win and a draw.
Pocognoli was a shock choice to take charge of Union Saint-Gilloise in July 2024 and was immediately thrust into the limelight with a debut match against Club Brugge in the Belgian Super Cup Final.
But Pocognoli guided his side to a 2-1 win and said: "It was a good start for the team.
"I want us to play attractive and dominant football and we have set a standard."
Pocognoli's next managerial debut came in October last year when he took charge of Monaco in an away match at Angers.
His Monaco side were leading until the 85th minute when they conceded a late equaliser to draw 1-1.
Pocognoli said: "There was a lot to like from the team, but we didn't get our rewards because we conceded a late goal."
He took charge of 69 games as USG boss and won 39 of them and was manager of Monaco for 38 matches, winning 16 of them.
