We're well into the second half of The Players Championship, where, following unsettled conditions on Thursday, the weather largely cooperated until the end of Saturday's play.
However, March weather in Florida can be changeable, and that has been apparent in recent editions of the tournament.
For example, in both 2022 and 2023, the second round couldn’t be completed on Friday as scheduled because of severe weather, while last year, a lengthy weather delay on Sunday meant Rory McIlroy needed to wait until Monday before beating JJ Spaun in a three-hole aggregate playoff.
So, what does the weather have in store for what remains of the 2026 tournament?
Weather Forecast For The Players Championship For The Rest Of The Week
The opening round of The Players Championship began with bright sunshine as the first groups got underway on Thursday morning.
However, as the morning progressed, gusts of wind became more of a theme, and soon after noon local time, a deluge hit the course, with a suspension following at 12.10pm ET.
It was a mercifully short delay, with players returning to action just 20 minutes later.

By Friday the conditions had settled greatly, with dry and sunny weather as Ludvig Aberg powered to the top of the leaderboard with a brilliant 63.
It was similarly settled through the morning and afternoon of the third round, with plenty of cloud and a breeze but dry conditions and temperatures in the low 70s.
That made a welcome change from some recent editions, although the unsettled weather that greeted players in the first round is expected to return on Sunday.
Scattered showers are in the forecast for Sunday morning, with scattered thunderstorms a possibility in the afternoon, particularly between 4pm and 8pm local time.
Temperatures are expected to reach the high 70s with southeast winds increasing to between 10 and 16mph.
