The Open Championship will be played for the 150th time this week, with the world's best players gathering at the iconic St Andrews Old Course in Scotland for a record 29th time.
The tournament was last held at the links course near Fife in 2015, a tournament which was won by Zach Johnson. Tiger Woods is the player in the field with the most victories at the legendary course, with two wins currently. However, the 46-year-old looks like an outside shot to claim a joint-record third win at St Andrews and draw level with Jack Nicklaus.
The course is known to be one of the most challenging courses in the game and this week, Tiger Woods spoke about the iconic links when telling Sky Sports about why playing in the 150th Open was important to him.
