The One Piece remake won't recast Luffy, as iconic voice actor says "it has truly renewed my spirit"

It looks like Netflix's upcoming The One Piece remake won't stray too far from the original anime, as the series has cast the original voice actor behind Monkey D Luffy.

The official One Piece Twitter page broke the news, writing, "The Japanese voice cast for Monkey D. Luffy is confirmed to be Mayumi Tanaka."
