Margaret Cumberland
(Harrington) Suddenly, but peacefully, Margaret died at Cheriton Care Home, Swindon, on 17th July, aged 89. Margaret was a much-loved wife to the late Denys, mother to Susan and Carol, mother-in-law to Syd and grandmother to Laurie and Eleanor. She was brought up in Aberdare, trained at Barry Teacher Training College and taught at Holton and Cadoxton infant schools. A service will be arranged at a later date, when Margaret's ashes will be interred with Denys's ashes at Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery. Family flowers only, but donations to the British Heart Foundation are welcome.
Arthur (Ging) O'Neill
Peacefully on 19th July 2022 at Risca Ward, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, where he had been lovingly cared for by ward staff for several months. Arthur, aged 84, beloved Husband of Anne, devoted Father of Gina and Son-in-law Malcolm and cherished Grandfather of Gemma and her Partner Richard. Arthur will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and former Royal Marine colleagues. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday 18th August, 1.15 pm at Thornhill Crematorium (Wenallt Chapel). Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Marie Curie. Kenneth "John" Pearce
It is with deep regret that our father Kenneth "John" Pearce passed away at the Royal Glamorgan hospital on Saturday 16th July 2022 aged 88. John formerly of 13 Howell Street Cilfynydd beloved husband of the late Ann Pearce and father to Andrew, Diane, Michelle and David. The funeral will take place on Monday 1st August Dad will leave from 13 Howell street Cilfynydd at 2:40pm then onto Glyntaff Crematorium for 3:00pm. Mary Brown
(née Daniel) Peacefully on 20th July at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Mary, aged 88 years of Duffryn Crescent, Bryncae, Llanharan. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ray, much loved mother of Colin, Shirley and Stephen, mother-in-law to Jeffrey and Julie, loving Nan of Owen. Mary will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
