A Leeds Indian restaurant has been ranked as one of the best in the country, according to new research.
Table 26 in Swillington receives regular rave reviews, according to new analysis from BonusInsider. When Google reviews were aggregated, Table 26 received a near-perfect average rating of 4.9 stars out of five from 175 reviews.
This put it at the number four Indian restaurant in the UK, behind only restaurants in Birmingham, Southampton and Oxford. Table 26 previously won best Indian restaurant in Yorkshire at the English Curry Awards in 2021.

Table 26 can be found on Church Lane, and is led by the award-winning Chef Babul. It serves an extensive A La Carte menu full of both classics and specials.
Some of the Leeds restaurant's stellar Google reviews include Angie Kirby, who wrote: "Visited here for the first time recently and what a find. Lovely restaurant with great food and service. We had the Sunday offer menu which is reasonably priced and came with a complimentary glass of wine and shot of liqueur Will definitely visit again."
Similarly, Leyton Twamms said: "Really nice find for me tucked away in the side street.... great food really friendly staff chapati was lovely and thin keema delicious tandoori meat tasted fresh.... I will defo be back if your in West Yorkshire and looking for a really good curry table 26 is defo worth a visit."
Table 26 got started around in Swillington around three years ago, after the owners closed down their previous restaurant Table 27 in Morley.
In his review, Chris Weatherhill said: "After having only takeaways from here at last we were able to visit and have a meal at the restaurant. On entering you are welcomed and feel really relaxed by the staff. Once shown to your table you get your menu and you are not rushed to place your order so you have time to check out all the fabulous meals on offer and the only stress is which one to choose.
"The atmosphere is excellent which is complimented by the excellent service you receive. As for the food well it is of a very high standard as the taste is well worth it. I would recommend anyone who loves great Indian food to give them a visit and I am convinced you will not be disappointed."
