How many quarterbacks are going in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft?
It feels near certain we’ll see at least two in USC’s Caleb Williams — who has been mocked to either go top-two or just out of the top-five — and North Carolina’s Drake Maye.
In our latest NFL mock draft from Christian D’Andrea, Maye and Williams went Nos. 1 and 2.
But what about the others in the class? How about Jayden Daniels? Will Oregon’s Bo Nix be in the mix? According to the latest mock from Pro Football Focus, Nix goes at No. 21 to the Minnesota Vikings. Here’s what Trevor Sikkema wrote:
Nix once again had a very impressive year as Oregon’s signal-caller. He finished the season with a 92.2 passing grade and an 87.3 passing grade under pressure, making only one turnover-worthy play under pressure all season. While he brings NFL-caliber arm talent, his season was not as demanding as it was for others. His season average depth of target was below 7.0, and his percentage of total passing yards that came through the air was below 40%.
