Family favourite The Late Shows has confirmed its dates for 2023 when the two-night 'culture crawl' will once again see museums, galleries, studios and landmark historical buildings in Newcastle and Gateshead open their doors after hours to visitors.
Tyne & Wear Archives and Museums announced that the popular event will be back on May 19 and 20 next year. It will offer free admission to the range of venues across Newcastle and Gateshead which will sign up to take part.
And inside the buildings will host hands-on workshops, behind-the-scenes tours, performances and parties. The idea is to showcase cultural attractions in short taster visits and, to help people cram in as much as possible, a free bus will be running to link key venues.
