The Hoppings is back in Newcastle, with the sun shining in the sky, to welcome the famous funfair's return to Tyneside.
After Covid ruined things for two consecutive summers, there was delight last year when the massive event finally arrived back at the Town Moor after a three hiatus. Huge numbers flocked to the moor in 2022, as The Hoppings organisers branched out with a food village and licensed bar for fair goers for the first time in its history.
The Hoppings ride list for this year, includes loads of the usual white knuckle favourites like the Magic Mouse, Freak Out and Atmosfear and Air, together with traditional go-tos, like waltzers, dodgems and a ghost train and a brand new addition Rocket Ride. The Hoppings food offerings are also plentiful this year, with Acropolis Greek street food, Redheads Mac 'n' Cheese and the Big Fat Indian Kitchen among the vendors setting out their stall for 2023.
