The Grand Tour reboot gets second series with new hosts before premiere

  • Amazon is preparing additional episodes for a second series of rebooted motoring show The Grand Tour prior to the premiere of its new presenter line-up.
  • Executive producer Andy Wilman confirmed that work and location planning are underway for another series, giving the new hosts a proper run to establish their own on-screen identity.
  • The new presenting trio comprises train enthusiast and social media personality Francis Bourgeois alongside YouTube motoring presenters Thomas Holland and James Engelsman.
  • The upcoming series will see the hosts tackle challenging global terrains, including navigating the Angolan desert in track cars and exploring the car culture of Malaysia.
  • The new line-up succeeds original hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, whose final special aired in September 2024, though the original trio are set to make cameo appearances.
